An Advertiser's goal is to make sure that his product reaches not only to a large audience, but an audience of the right kind. All our websites and the content on the websites is carefully curated and targeted towards a wide range of audiences, usually the technologically savvy. Advertising with us ensures that your product gets the exposure it deserves.
The Ads
As active world-wide-web users, we at iXyr understand the importance of a good looking ad. If we ever land up on a website that's either overloaded with ads or simply has downright ugly ads, it doesn't take us long to close the browser window and get the fuck heck off the site. We believe that advertising should be beautiful, relevant and to the point. This is why we make sure that all the ads on the network are carefully chosen. Every ad is rotated equally across all our websites on the network.
Our new ad implementation looks exactly like the little box at the top right of this page. The ad unit consists of a banner image measuring 130px by 100px and accompanied by up to 80 characters of text. This ad unit is hyperlinked to a URL of the advertiser's choice. Optionally, our designers can even design an ad for you at a small fee.
As an Advertiser, you can book at Ad Spot with us for one calendar month. We do not like to deal with the complexities involved with charging per 'x' impressions, so all our ad units are available at a flat monthly fee of $220. We only run 5 ads in a given month.

Beautiful Pixels is a place where we can collectively admire the works of some of the greatest user interface designs of our time, as no other art is as scientific, restrictively creative, and most of all, utilitarian.
- Homescreen.me : Homescreen is a nifty little web app that lets you share your iOS devices' homescreens with the world. When you sign up with an account, you get your own profile page similar to twitter or Facebook. Just upload your homescreens and give out the URL to your friends.
- Safari Extensions : A fantastic collection of frequently updated extensions for Safari 5.x.
Premium Advertising?
We understand that there are times when you want to go a little more radical in advertising your product. This is why we have a special, dedicated, "premium" ad spot on our website Smoking Apples. This ad unit is placed at the top of the website, at the right of the header. Just send us an email if you'd like to advertise there.
